It’s been nine months since Kaitlyn Parker has seen or heard from Martin Sandeke—nine months and five stages of matter. She’s lived through the worst of first-love heartbreak, and is most certainly stronger (and less likely to hide in science cabinets) than ever before.
But now Martin is back. And he wants to be friends. But he’s sending mixed signals to the Bunsen burner in Kaitlyn’s pants.
Will Martin re-capture Kaitlyn’s heart? Can Kaitlyn and Martin ever be just friends? Or, despite an abundance of chemistry, are some bonds just too unstable to endure?

Review:
CAPTURE, the third and final installment in Penny Reid's Elements of Chemistry novel, is here! And where HEAT perfectly epitomizes that all consuming lust and all to bright and burning flame of young love CAPTURE simply put is where everything falls into place. And it ends in an HEA (Thank you universe!) Its really hard to review a book which from the start you have totally fallen in love with. Penny Reid's unique characters always tugs at your heartstrings right from the start and Kaitlyn and Martin are no exception. NA for that matter also gives you the vibe that it has to be angst filled for that reason the way that Kaitlyn has presented her angst was quite refreshing. Humor and poignancy has never been written so well than it is in CAPTURE and for that alone readers simply will adore this book. Again subjective perceptions and biases on my part for I simply loved Penny Reid's style of writing. Objectively it was definitely well written, the plot devices of other people coming between our couple was presented quite realistically but it was the way these two, quite young but so mature in many ways, people was able to resolve everything without moments of implausibility that made everything work and fall into place. CAPTURE was bittersweet, fun, angsty, humorous, but most of all captivating.

SEX! It all started with sex, between my parents. Personally I don’t like thinking about it, but whatever works for you is a-ok with me. No judgment. The sex happened in California and much of my life also occurred in that state until I moved from the land of nuts (almonds), wine, silicon… boobs, and heavy traffic to the southeast US. Like most writers I like to write, but let’s get back to sex. Eventually I married and gave birth to 2 small people-children (boy-6, girl-4 as of this writing).
By day I’m a biomedical researcher with focus on rare diseases. By night I’m a knitter, sewer, lino block carver, fabric printer, soap maker, and general crafter. By the wee hours of the morning or when I’m intoxicated I love to listen to the voices in my head and let them tell me stories. I hope you enjoy their stories.
