Steal My Magnolia is the third book in Karla Sorensen's Love at First Sight series, which is set in Green Valley, Tennessee, an offshoot of Penny Reid's Green Valley world.  Love at First Sight is the Buchanan family curse? blessing? For Grady Buchanan who grew up outside of Green Valley it feels like both!  Specially since the object of his affection happens to be his sister's boyfriend's ex girlfriend.  Yes complicated doesn't even begin to describe the adorable mess he finds himself in.  Magnolia MacIntyre has always lived in Green Valley.  The beloved daughter of parents both from prominent and well off families in the region, she's always been protected by her father.  Longing to finally be able to live her life making her own decisions, she takes job where for a little while anyway she was nearly unknown.  Until Grady finds out who she really is and more importantly until she finds about the Buchanan curse of love at first sight.  Now these two have to find a way to navigate a complicated situation to maybe have a chance at the falling in love part of their journey.

Steal My Magnolia makes you take a second look at the romance trope of love at first sight.  Grady's and Magnolia's situation makes you think that it's definitely wonderful, that love bit, but its also isn't as easy as it seems.  Magnolia's self identity, the way she grew up, the way that most of her life wasn't in her control (although this was coming from a place of love rather than something darker) love at first sight will definitely feel like even in a relationship where she can exert her own agency, its still being thwarted by a family curse.  This was makes this book stand out, how the love at first sight can feel from another perspective.  Grady's character work more for the relationship also because he wasn't a believer until he got the bug.  He needed to step back and make the girl choose on her own which makes him a marvelous male lead.  Choosing despite the odds he might not really get his happily ever after.  I love how it all worked out in the end!

Switched by Cassie Mae was a funny and often frustrating read but highly entertaining. Kayla, Wesley, Reagan and Talon were all friends. Reagan and Talon were a couple while Kayla and Wesley, well they've been pining for these two since high school. Told from Kayla's point of view, she, dragging Wesley along hatches a plan to break the happy couple apart. Because as everyone can see Talon is her soulmate while Wesley is Reagan's. Thus starts the funs and the laughs and the musical chairs between the four. Kayla as a character was frustrating initially for me, I have no idea whether its because she was being an evil bestfriend to Reagan or she really was in love with Talon. I could not really hate nor empathize with her at the start. As the story progressed and the romance part began, her sudden self awareness becomes believable.
