Fallen Star introduces readers to Scott Deacon a recovering addict whose star was once the brightest but imploded while he was in the binges of his addiction.  Now, he's trying to restart his career but everything seems difficult until Grace  happened.  Grace is a level headed person, she's been burned by an actor once before and was not about to let it happen again.  Doesn't matter that Scott is turning out to be a nice guy, he's too far up the ladder for her to get the wrong ideas.  But the constant togetherness, that feeling of friendship starts creeping up and pretty soon they're dealing with so much more.  What happens when they act on it?  I love the way that the relationship between Grace and Scott develop and its really an in depth one, with both characters view points being given, their own personal history adds to the romance really well.  It feels genuine and not so heavy on the drama especially since this is a Hollywood trope romance where the social standing could have been overblown.  Here its balanced really well making the reader invested in the two protagonists story.  Fallen Star unlike its title shines really brightly for this romance reader.

Switched by Cassie Mae was a funny and often frustrating read but highly entertaining. Kayla, Wesley, Reagan and Talon were all friends. Reagan and Talon were a couple while Kayla and Wesley, well they've been pining for these two since high school. Told from Kayla's point of view, she, dragging Wesley along hatches a plan to break the happy couple apart. Because as everyone can see Talon is her soulmate while Wesley is Reagan's. Thus starts the funs and the laughs and the musical chairs between the four. Kayla as a character was frustrating initially for me, I have no idea whether its because she was being an evil bestfriend to Reagan or she really was in love with Talon. I could not really hate nor empathize with her at the start. As the story progressed and the romance part began, her sudden self awareness becomes believable.
