 This book caught me by surprise. The synopsis gives you a basic idea that this is going to be a sweet and sexy second chance romance with fame as a plot point. It is that and quite substantially more. Set in small town Iowa with a famous pop star and an art professor as protagonists, Ms. Holiday manages to keep the heat between these two simmering while at the same time going into great depth on how their relationship develops through friendship, thoughtful and honest conversation and living life by enjoying every minute of it with no fear of complications. Emmy and Evan will capture your hearts with their characters but at the same time won't skip on the romantic grand gestures at the end. 

 The magic of Famous is how this two fall in love with each other and with the lives they are living.
SYNOPSIS:

Emerson Quinn is famous. Girls want to be her. Boys want to date her. Each record outsells the last. Switched by Cassie Mae was a funny and often frustrating read but highly entertaining. Kayla, Wesley, Reagan and Talon were all friends. Reagan and Talon were a couple while Kayla and Wesley, well they've been pining for these two since high school. Told from Kayla's point of view, she, dragging Wesley along hatches a plan to break the happy couple apart. Because as everyone can see Talon is her soulmate while Wesley is Reagan's. Thus starts the funs and the laughs and the musical chairs between the four. Kayla as a character was frustrating initially for me, I have no idea whether its because she was being an evil bestfriend to Reagan or she really was in love with Talon. I could not really hate nor empathize with her at the start. As the story progressed and the romance part began, her sudden self awareness becomes believable.
