In the third and final installment of Lauren Layne's The Wedding Belles series readers will FINALLY get Alexis and Logan's story. The couple who acts like a couple but isn't really a couple. Where the word unrequited is spelled LOGAN I mean really 8 years is way overdue for some action! And as expected its more bittersweet than the last two books in terms of why it took so long for this two to finally hook up. The story starts with how Alexis met Logan and the beginning of a friendship that has the potential for more. But after 8 years nothing has change except for the fact that Logan is still in love with Alexis who remains oblivious of his feelings. Then choices have to be made and both Alexis and Logan are at a crossroads.  Can these two finally get their act together? 

Why I specifically love this book is the way Ms. Layne writes.  Her way of making everything makes sense, of why Logan would wait so long, of why Alexis can behaved so obliviously. There are no excessive dramas or over the top plot devices.  Its just two people with different personalities who everyone knows are just perfect for each other except themselves (in this case Alexis).  Layne writes magic in the most ordinary of situation in the most fascinating locals and in the most romantic way two people can connect.  

Amazingly poignant, sweet and funny To Have and To Hold is a fitting title and a fantastic end to a great series! Alexis and Logan will always be the power couple of The Wedding Belles :)

Switched by Cassie Mae was a funny and often frustrating read but highly entertaining. Kayla, Wesley, Reagan and Talon were all friends. Reagan and Talon were a couple while Kayla and Wesley, well they've been pining for these two since high school. Told from Kayla's point of view, she, dragging Wesley along hatches a plan to break the happy couple apart. Because as everyone can see Talon is her soulmate while Wesley is Reagan's. Thus starts the funs and the laughs and the musical chairs between the four. Kayla as a character was frustrating initially for me, I have no idea whether its because she was being an evil bestfriend to Reagan or she really was in love with Talon. I could not really hate nor empathize with her at the start. As the story progressed and the romance part began, her sudden self awareness becomes believable.
