Feature Post: Wingmen Series by Daisy Prescott: Review
Meet Daisy Prescott's The Wingmen! At first glance men who seems content to casually date, flirt and in some cases just plain tomcatting but when push comes to shove, these men are the ones who suddenly craves that one person to share their life with. The Wingmen Series is an offshoot from Daisy Prescott's beloved Modern Love series and the newest book Better Love will be releasing on October 24th.
Rating/Review: 5 cups of unique storytelling, charming heroes, resilient heroines and most of all the journey of falling in love in real life.
In Ready to Fall, a friendly neighbor never imagined that what he always needed is just about to move in next door. You have got to love the way Ms. Prescott just basically takes the reader into the microcosm of how a relationship develops. With her unique writing style and a totally male POV, Ready to Fall, will just about make you want your own John Day. He isn't perfect, he has his own set of faults and problems but its just fantastic how in each word readers are taken into the journey of falling in love in the most innocuous setting imaginable. There is wit, there is charm, there is humor and poignancy but what's definite is the way readers will love with John and Diane.
In Confessions of a Reformed Tom Cat, it's Tom Donnelly's turn to meet his match. He lost his wingman to love but he refuses to give up his tomcatting ways! He never promises forever and everyone remains happy for it. Until Hailey King comes back to town and places an offer he can't refuse. But now the proposed one night stand has become a one week one and is getting longer by the minute. But instead of breaking up in hives Tom feels that maybe Hailey is really the one that he refuses to let go off. Readers will love Tom and will definitely laugh and cheer on his romance with Hailey, this reformed tom cat is still charming and outrageous but when he falls its forever!
Whatever you do, don't let your ass get on the internet! This is a lesson that was hard to learn for Erik Kelso in the third Wingmen book, Anything But Love. One Cabo vacation resulted in a publicity nightmare. Who knew he had the butt of a celebrity! Never mind that his internet fame was brought about by one Caribou Caldwell, the hot babe who he tried to save from an asshole boyfriend. Stalking cougars, fangirls and paparazzi are the least of his problems when the one who started it all seems to be in his hometown. And however much he denies it, it seems one more Wingman has fallen into love! Now if he can only get rid of those butt stalkers he can start concentrating on wooing the ever delightful Caribou!
