For Better or Worse, the second full length book in the Wedding Belles series is all sorts of fantastic! From the start of the page readers will be so engrossed and captivated with the story of Heather and Josh. Heather from the start of the series was always present in the periphery but she didn't really make a lasting impression at first. But in this book, we get to know her personality, what drives her and what she sees in her future. When Josh comes in the picture, the chemistry between them was just perfect. The opposites attract/friendship to lovers theme was so perfectly balanced it hit the right notes for this wonderful story. The dialogue was always on point, humorous, witty and so real it just made you smile and laugh while reading. The developing relationship between Josh and Heather was all your romantic comedy movies blended together to give you that equal parts funny, poignant and sweetly sexy romance that made your day. Josh does have his douche bag moments, all perfectly understandable at some point given his situation. He does make up for it with his grand gesture in the end. Lauren Layne has clearly created another series that will be a constant re-read for a long time. Looking forward to reading Alexis and Logan's story!

Switched by Cassie Mae was a funny and often frustrating read but highly entertaining. Kayla, Wesley, Reagan and Talon were all friends. Reagan and Talon were a couple while Kayla and Wesley, well they've been pining for these two since high school. Told from Kayla's point of view, she, dragging Wesley along hatches a plan to break the happy couple apart. Because as everyone can see Talon is her soulmate while Wesley is Reagan's. Thus starts the funs and the laughs and the musical chairs between the four. Kayla as a character was frustrating initially for me, I have no idea whether its because she was being an evil bestfriend to Reagan or she really was in love with Talon. I could not really hate nor empathize with her at the start. As the story progressed and the romance part began, her sudden self awareness becomes believable.
