His Cinderella isn’t looking for a fairy tale…

He’s the guy who broke her heart when they were teens, an experience she doesn’t plan on repeating. Prince Leo can’t believe he’s finally found the woman he’s loved for years, and she wants nothing to do with him. When she shows up at his office, she looks anything but princess-like. In fact, she’s cursing him to hell and back. She may not be Cinderella, but he’s determined to prove he’s the prince for her––even if it means letting her go

Review/Rating: 4 cups ☕☕☕☕
The Prince's Bride is a very 21st century take on a beloved fairy tale, Cinderella.  The masquerade ball is now a club with a very adventurous take and the prince and his lady love does the dance in the most intimate of ways.  Cue the next morning and clearly Alicia and Leo find themselves in the most awkward situation.  He happens to be the crown prince in need of his princess bride and she is definitely an American but not a princess.  Plus they happened to have met before, ten years to be exact when they clearly meant a lot to each other despite their young age.  Now because of an archaic law regarding sexual congress of a royal, Alicia is now Leo's hostage until well she finds herself not pregnant with the royal heir.  But with each passing day they spend together, old feelings are resurrected.  Can they ever be together despite broken trusts and class divide?

The Prince's Bride was a lighthearted take on second chances at love.  It was very sexy, very modern but also old fashioned in feelings and emotions.  It makes you smile, laugh and clearly will make you swoon in the old fashion way (that ending is definitely swoon worthy!) and fan yourself because these two characters do sizzle!

His mouth moved over hers without mercy. She clung to him, her heart racing so fast it was a miracle it didn’t stop altogether. Growling deep in his throat, he backed her against a steel door. He kissed her again, his mouth even more demanding than before. He let go of his hold on her hair and slid his thumbs under her jaw, holding her in place.
It was as if he couldn’t get enough. And she loved every single second of it.She curled her fist in his shirt and yanked him closer.
He smashed his lips to hers, his tongue dueling with hers desperately. He tasted like beer and pure man, a combination she’d forgotten existed. His hands slid under her dress, creeping toward her inner thighs, and she whimpered into his mouth.
The cool door was a complete contrast with his hot, muscular length pressed up against her, and when his hand slid between her thighs, something inside of her snapped. She rolled her hips against him, every inch of her body begged for his touch.

It was enough to make a girl scream.

Review Post: Fool Me Once by Catherine Bybee

Rating/Review: ☕☕☕☕ 1/2 (4.5 cups, this romantic suspense will give new meaning to The First Wives Club)
You never know what you really would be getting when reading a Catherine Bybee book.  On the outside, each book can definitely hold its own as a great contemporary romance novel.  Read a little bit further, you get well-defined, multilayered characters and a romantic suspense in the making. Pretty soon you will be amazed on the intricate storyline balanced well with the main characters developing romance.  Fool Me Once is definitely a Catherine Bybee book.  The first in her new series, First Wives,  Fool Me Once is also a spinoff from her popular Weekday Bride series.  And yet again, Ms. Bybee delivers in her great characters, well thought out plot and melding her two series together without one overpowering the other.
The story starts out as the head of Alliance and their legal go to person, Lori try to help one of their client who unexpectedly lost her husband.  To get her away …
