Delicious Temptations Blog Tour
Today we will be hosting the Delicious Temptations Blog Tour, featuring Anna Sullivan's Temptation Bay (review link) and Adrianne Lee's Delicious (review link). I've read and reviewed both these books and enjoyed them. One is a sweet and quirky romance filled with delicious pies and the other, a romantic suspense mystery waiting to be solved. Both these authors have penned great stories which make us wonder what makes a good contemporary romance? We asked both Anna and Adrianne to give us their top 5 things that a contemporary romance must have for each of them and their books definitely hit the list.
Top 5 Things You Must Have in Your Contemporary Romance
Anna Sullivan:
1. Interesting setting, someplace I’d want to visit, with people I’d want to meet
2. Amazing protagonists, which goes without saying, but I like my hero and heroine to be equals (one does not overshadow the other in any way)
3. Humor, wit, sharp dialogue that draws me in
4. Sparks, sparks, sparks – emotion, emotion, emotion
Adrianne Lee:
1. Sexily DELICIOUS hero.
2. Strong heroine.
3. Interesting secondary characters that stir the pot.
4. A setting that makes me wish I could be there.
5. Always some sort of family issues, good or bad.

About the author:
Anna Sullivan was born and raised in southeastern Michigan, the seventh of nine children, whose claim to fame was reading five books a week in grade school. Needless to say, her obsession with the written word only grew from there-despite a short, and misguided, foray into the world of computer science (the "sensible" job path). She still lives in Michigan, with her husband, three children and two dogs whose life of leisure she envies but would never be able to pull off.

Adrianne Lee lives with her husband of many, many years on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Washington State in a pole barn building her husband transformed into an upstairs apartment with a shop below for his hot rods. Adrianne creates her stories on her laptop, in her recliner with her adopted cat, Spooky, curled between her calves, snoozing. Over thirty years of summer vacationing in the Flat Head Lake area near Kalispell and Glacier Park has given her a love for all things Montana.
