Claimed by Stacey Kennedy (Club Sin #1)

Claimed (Club Sin, #1)
Claimed, the first book in the Club Sin series, is more romance than BDSM erotica although the heat level was definitely way up there. Stacey Kennedy was able to craft a story that still had the traditional relationship aspects without sacrificing any of the BDSM elements of which the whole series will revolve around. Both Presley and Dmitri's characters were well fleshed out, giving plausible explanations regarding their behavior and their hangups which in turn gave credence to the story. Readers who are new to BDSM incorporated in romance will find Claimed a great book to wet their toes in. Its not hardcore but not exactly sugarcoating what it truly entails either. Overall Stacey Kennedy wrote a unique story in Claimed.

Book Summary:
Presley Flynn is ripe to experience her secret fantasies . . . and Dmitri Pratt wants nothing more than to fulfill them. Once inside the elite Club Sin in Las Vegas, Presley is nervous but excited—and determined to surrender to her every desire. Dmitri is her Master, and his touch is like fire. With each careful, calculated caress, he unleashes her wildest inhibitions, giving her unimagined pleasure.

Presley is different than the other submissives Dmitri has mastered. The BDSM lifestyle is new to her, and so are the games they play at Club Sin. From the start, Presley stirs emotions in him far beyond the raw purity between a dom and the perfect sub. For the ecstasy they share goes beyond the dungeon igniting a passion that claims the very depths of the heart.

Review Post: Fool Me Once by Catherine Bybee

Rating/Review: ☕☕☕☕ 1/2 (4.5 cups, this romantic suspense will give new meaning to The First Wives Club)
You never know what you really would be getting when reading a Catherine Bybee book.  On the outside, each book can definitely hold its own as a great contemporary romance novel.  Read a little bit further, you get well-defined, multilayered characters and a romantic suspense in the making. Pretty soon you will be amazed on the intricate storyline balanced well with the main characters developing romance.  Fool Me Once is definitely a Catherine Bybee book.  The first in her new series, First Wives,  Fool Me Once is also a spinoff from her popular Weekday Bride series.  And yet again, Ms. Bybee delivers in her great characters, well thought out plot and melding her two series together without one overpowering the other.
The story starts out as the head of Alliance and their legal go to person, Lori try to help one of their client who unexpectedly lost her husband.  To get her away …
